01 Data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data — your name, email address, and authentication identifiers when you sign up.
• Content you create — scripts, hooks, captions, carousels, styles, uploaded footage and frames, and the creative "DNA" derived from them.
• Instagram data — if you choose to connect your Instagram professional account, we access your reels media and captions you import, and their performance insights (views, reach, likes, saves, shares, watch time) via the official Instagram API. We never receive your Instagram password.
• Billing data — subscription status and payment metadata processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
• Usage and device data — logs, app version, platform, and diagnostic information needed to run and secure the service.

02 How we use your data

• To provide the tools — generating scripts, hooks, captions, carousels and insights in your voice.
• To operate your subscription, free trial, and billing.
• To surface Instagram performance context inside the product where you have connected your account.
• To secure the service, prevent abuse, debug problems, and respond to your support requests.

03 Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of our contract with you (providing the service), your consent (for example, connecting Instagram), our legitimate interests (securing and improving the service), and compliance with legal obligations.

04 Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf — for example cloud hosting, AI model providers, email delivery, and payment processing — under appropriate data-processing terms.

05 Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, tax and accounting records).

06 Your rights and data deletion

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can disconnect your Instagram account from within the app, which stops further access and removes stored Instagram tokens.

To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at arek@yaptoreel.com from your account address, or use the in-app account controls. We will action verified requests without undue delay. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (in Poland, the UODO).

07 International transfers

Some of our processors may operate outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

08 Cookies

The marketing site uses only the minimal storage needed to remember your language preference. The application may use essential cookies required for authentication and security.
